We had been to the food truck location previously, & now that Xaboo Mephaa has a brick & mortar location, we had to go! We ordered the street tacos & the tamales. The tamales are super tender & really like no other tamale we’ve tried before, highly recommend. The street tacos are simple & tasty, & all of the meats are delicious & good portions of meat per taco (I got pastor, asada, campechano, & shrimp). The jalapeño margarita was really good, too. Also the salsa they serve you complimentary was so fresh, tasty, & also mild, so we ordered two hotter salsas (the green creamy jalapeño is amazing & medium heat, & the dark brown mole type hot sauce is even hotter but super tasty). We will go back for certain. Thanks Xaboo Mephaa!

I think I've found my favorite authentic Mexican dishes. From a perfectly done Relleno to Lengua street tacos to the best Salsa! Very friendly and knowledgeable server. The owner/chef visited our table and he is very proud to serve these old family recipes. Hard name to prounce...so just shorten it to....the best!

Was at a doctors appointment so I decided to find a restraunt nearby. So glad I chose Xaboo. My food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I loved that the refried beans were black beans. So delicious and way better than regular refried beans. Will definitely be coming back!

I am so excited my favorite food truck is now brick and and mortar! Had a great lunch of tacos and a gordita. Excellent customer service, too. They should have alcohol in two weeks once their liquor license is approved. Great spot for lunch or dinner.

Went on a weekday night around 6 o’clock based on a recommendation. The seating area was full, but it was pleasantly not loud. Despite their being TVs, you weren’t overstimulated by the environment, which was a fantastic change of pace. Even the position of the TVs felt intentional and while they were there, you could still focus on your dinner and guests and not what was playing on the TV. The staff really works together as a team, so we always had fresh chips and salsa and topped off waters. Being gluten-free there were plenty of options, and they were very knowledgeable (even having corn quesadillas). The chips were thin, and perfectly salted, which I like. Well, the quality is good and you’re definitely going to go home with leftovers. The pricing is also great. For example fajitas with steak and chicken and shrimp was only 18. It’s worth a visit!

The food truck the owner of this fine establishment ran in Lees Summit was always very good. I visited this new restaurant on Douglas Street and was glad to see the food was as good as it was on the food truck. We had El Pastor tacos and Birria tacos. I loved the cheesy, delicious beef Birria tacos. I like supporting a family owned small biz. Friendly, attentive service and plenty of parking at this new place.

This place is an amazing hidden gem. I’ve been going to the food truck for years, but the restaurant is even better for a sitdown dining experience. Best Mexican and Lee Summit, really the only one worth eating at IMHO. The owner is very friendly and professional, the staff is amazing. The prices are great, and the establishment is clean. The fajitas are incredible so are the pastor and chorizo tacos, the tortillas they use are very high-quality. The Wednesday special is a fajita burrito, which is amazing. The Saturday special is crispy fried tacos, which are my absolute favorite. My only complaint is that you can’t get him the other six days of the week! You can’t go wrong with anything here. Even their Diet Coke is way better than everywhere else, I don’t know how they do it
